Teamster Searching for Missing Sister Needs Our Help
On July 4, 1997, Mike Fromm’s sister disappeared and has never been seen again. For 13 years, Fromm, a 30-year member of Local 662 in Green Bay, Wis., and his three sisters have searched to no avail for Bonnie Schultz, last seen leaving an Indianapolis bar. “It’s as if she just fell off the face of the earth,” Fromm said. “We do not feel that she is alive because we know she would have tried to contact one of us. And she would never leave her two children.” “It’s just a frustrating thing not knowing what happened to her,” Fromm added. Fromm’s Teamster brothers and sisters have helped in the search for Schultz, but now Local 662 is reaching out for more Teamster help. Danny McGowan, a business agent for Local 662, recently sent a letter to locals in Indiana and in Louisville, Ky., giving them information on the Schultz case. “Someone out there has information that can help solve this case and maybe the information and photo we’re distributing will help jog someone’s memory,” McGowan said. “Let’s do our part in helping a fellow union brother in finding out what happened to his sister.” McGowan asked the locals to forward his letter, Schultz’s photo and information to as many people as they could. Here is the information on Schultz, who was 47 years old at the time of her disappearance:
